To pursue the utility of targeting PNAG in neuroinflammatory conditions we will be developing distinct formulations appropriate for those settings. mAb F598 is administered as a 1 – 2-hour intravenous infusion. While that is appropriate for hospitalized patients, it will most likely not be as acceptable or convenient for a chronic condition such as Alzheimer’s disease. Accordingly, we will be developing an alternative formulation that will permit multiple administrations in an outpatient setting — similar to how GLP-1s are administered.
